This video applies to both deck or face mount posts and narrow or wide top caps. We will show you how to use the tools that we rent to make this part of the project as smooth and easy as possible.

2B. Attaching Top Cap: Wide

Wide top caps can be built with deck or face mount posts. They are most commonly built on decks.

4. Crimping and Cutting Cables

Last we crimp and cut the cables for your cable handrail

5. Final Step - Permanently screwing down posts

We walk you through how to tell if it's time to finally permanently screw down your posts.

6. Assembling "D" Return

This video show you how to assemble a "D" type return for the bottom of a handrail. This return is required for interior handrails for IRC 2018 code book.

7. Removing cables from valves

We show you how to remove cut off cables from the valves. They can get jammed with all the force of pulling on the cables.
